Unit 2. Translation and language evolution
The videopresentation TRANSLATION AND LANGUAGE EVOLUTION focuses on shifts in the evolution of target language communicative style through examination of two translations for the Greek stage of a 20th century Irish play. It maintains that stage translation can eloquently register target language evolution and hierarchy in the communicative priorities of everyday family interaction.
